365 Project: Week 40 & 41

First, there are less than 12 weeks left in this year!!!! CRAZY!
Second, I am playing catch up as I have been this whole year. 2013: The year of being behind schedule.
Third, I feel like the pictures for the last two weeks are really random. Maybe that's just me?

 September 29
Sweet Keith peeking out of his pillow fort.

 September 30
Sunset through a dirty windshield.

 October 1
I really noticed the sunsetting earlier during this week making for a dramatic, dusk lit Crispin while I cooked dinner.

 October 2
The fancy bathroom light.

 October 3
I don't even remember why I took this picture and it was the ONLY picture I took that day. I got home from work late and went for a run and then (I guess) I thought I would take a picture of myself getting ready for bed. I have no clue.

 October 4
Happy Birthday Jerod!
Mountain Lion and I both love you.

 October 5
Isn't it pretty at Jerod's parent's? It's so bucolic in the Cushing country side.
 October 6
Kittens taking it easy and being a tiny bit creepy.

 October 7
I have to take advantage of pretty flowers as soon it will be winter.
 October 8
5 o'clock traffic. . .I haven't driven in it in ages and don't really miss it.
 October 9
This picture says a lot about our house. Jerod ask me to take the photo and I never even ask why and Crispin has to be in the middle of anything that is happening.
 October 10
I guess Crispin wanted to go to my craft fair with me?!?!?!?
 October 10
Paper lanterns at my booth. Did they help with crafty sales? I don't know but they looked pretty.
October 11
Oh, bike basket you are a handy thing (thanks Bree). And don't think I'm a lush the liquor store was having some good deals and now I don't have to buy wine for a while.

365 Project: Week 38 & 39

We went on vacation. . .it was magical! And other things happened too.
 September 15
Bagel and Bacon Sandwiches. . .even if they aren't cool anymore bagel sandwiches are tasty.
 September 16
Using up food before we head out on vacation. I got a little creative with my tomato sauce.
 September 17
I was trying to take an adorable picture of Sweet Keith hiding under my suitcase lid and the flash accidentally went off. .  .so I ended up taking a picture of his spirit.
September 18
A lady needs freshly painted nails for vacation, especially if you are me.

 September 19
This picture does not do this scene justice.
Flying to Portland we had to take a propeller plane from Seattle into Portland, it happened to be just as a full moon was rising. It is not hyperbole when I say it is one of the most beautiful sights of my whole life.
September 20
A fun trip to the Japanese Gardens in Portland, OR. Everything was so green.
 September 21
Multnomah Falls in Oregon is amazing. Driving into the forest to see it I expected to see all of my favorite forest dwelling fairytale favorites. I guess there is a bigfoot in the area, too!
 September 22
One of our main excitements in Seattle was the EMP Museum.
It was cool.
 September 23
Space alien sea life at the Seattle Aquarium.

September 24
Although they don't seem it (especially Crispin) I think they were glad we came home.

 September 25
Healthing it up after vacation. Quinoa and roasted kale.
 September 26
INVENTORY makes me tired!

September 27
Farm fresh eggs!!!!!! A nice surprise from one of the women at the School of Art.
Now I just need to eat a few before Jerod gets to them all.

September 28
Plaza District Festival. Once it quit raining it turned into a great day.

365 Project: Week 37

I am prepping for a craft festival so . . . there is a bunch of crafting this week. A BUNCH OF CRAFTING!
August 8
Have you ever seen so much crochet produce in one location? I didn't think so!

 August 9
Pesto making factory. And a big kitchen mess.
August 10
Quick mac and cheese for a tired evening.

 August 11
I guess it is good to get so moral and life advice on one's walk home.
 August 12
Sewing and cat feet. . .sewing and cat feet. . .sewing and cat feet.
 August 13
Downtown OKC at sunset. It had been a while since I had been down there.

August 14
Hand sewing, a sleeping cat, my feet and Community (to keep me entertained). I turned, stuffed and sewed 100 individual birds in 2 days. Thank goodness for cat company and netflix.

365 Project: Week 35 & 36

Let's jump right in. . .
 August 25
Sunrise at our cabin by the Illinois River. It was pretty and foggy and quiet. Just like sunrise should be.
 August 26
The cats are forever creeping and staring.

 August 27
These flowers look like sea creatures.
 August 28
The apocalypse may have started. OK is being taken over by crickets and grasshoppers.

August 29
Crispin is always the helper. I was attempting to take some pillow photos and she felt it would look better if she was in the mix. She might not have been wrong. Ignore how messy my work table is. . .please.

August 30
Working on patterns. It involves a lot of scratching out and weird diagrams and a first skull with a narrow, long, flat cranium.

 August 31
How classic is this morning?
September 1
Salted Caramel Ice Cream! I was so excited by this I may or may not have walked into a wall.
 September 2
Happy Labor Day!
I love a three day weekend!!!!
I was getting ready to cut Jerod's hair and Crisp again decided to "help".

 September 3
This is about 2 seconds before the pouncing started.
 September 4
I love roses! They are beautiful. That is all.

 September 5
For the last three years this lady has run to the end of her yard to say hello to me as I head to work. I call her little bit (she is very tiny) and she flops over so I can rub her tummy. Recently I didn't see her for over a month I thought the worst as sometimes things happen especially to outdoor cats  BUT on this Thursday she greeted me with purrs and meows and a belly flop and I was glad to see her.
 September 6
Jerod was off work this day and cleaned the house for me and then took me on a date. The empty spot in the middle of the table was soon filled with sushi. He can be a real sweetie when he wants to.

September 7
It got quite hot this day. I think that is even evident from the sunrise.

365 Project: Week 34

Happy Week 34 to you all. I hope yours went well. I am, strangely, looking forward to fall this year but am also trying to soak up the last bit of summer goodness.  Is anyone else feeling one way or another about the change of the seasons?

 August 18
I feel like this looks fake or like a movie still or something. Also, I need to clean the screen on this window.

 August 19
Great Plains, you do have some grand skies!

 August 20
This is usually how I am greeted in the evenings

 August 21
A goofy face to express my excitement over just having gotten my hair cut. Hair cut day is the best day.

August 22
Sweet Keith is always my buddy when I wake up too early.

 August 23
There are so many varieties of lilies. I have no clue what most of them are actually called but they are so pretty.

August 24
Cards Against Humanity in our poorly lit cabin on the Illinois River.
I learned a few things this day.
1. Floating the river is fun.
2. River people are a little nuts.
3. I am able to fall out of a raft and not only keep my glasses from getting wet but also not spill my beer.
4. I really enjoy a braut, especially if I have been out in the sun all day floating a river.
5. Cards Against Humanity is hilarious and I want to play it again.
