Did you know that this full moon is called the Sturgeon Moon? And we'll have another, a Blue Moon, in August! Thanks, yoga for teaching me these things!
It's called a sturgeon moon because back in the early Farmer's Almanac Days this moon was the best for catching sturgeon at the Great Lakes. Blue moon is just the name of the 2nd moon anytime there are two full moons in one month (this happens twice a year, I think). And yes, I believe it is bluish. I guess we'll see in a 4 weeks:-)
