365 Project: Week 33

 August 11
We bought some sort of large moss rose variety this summer. They have really thrived and have the prettiest flowers during the heat of the day.

 August 12
(think, think, think)
 August 13
I maybe shouldn't have walked to work this day. . .It was really pouring. I didn't get that drenched so no harm no foul.

August 14
These were actually almonds not cashews and they are delicous. I didn't know nuts could be so fancy.
August 15
We have a ton of these peppers! Jerod says he is going to make Sariracha.

August 16
If you like homemade pizza you should grill one. TASTE TREAT!

August 17
Sunrise is the closest I ever feel to religious.

365 Project: Week 32

Week 32. . . . things keep on moving. Nothing big to report, it always seems like this time of summer is a little quiet.

August 4
Who wouldn't want to see this sweetie waiting for them? And it makes me feel weird and nostalgic (for what I am not sure) when I can see in my own house from the outside in.

 August 5
BEST!PASTA!SALAD!EVER!
and I don't lie about pasta salad.
 August 6
This is what my work looks like most days. And I really like the sundress I had on that day. Plus I this picture make me think how much I like my wedding ring.

 August 7
Making list always makes me feel better about the world (& my life).

August 8
I feel like this looks like a creepy movie poster.
What is behind those trees?

August 9
Jerod and I could not quit laughing about her big ol' belly.

August 10
We had a fun dinner at Lake Thunderbird with our friends and their sweet baby. It was nice.

365 Project: Week 31

August is here and less blazingly, mind-numbingly hot than in years past. It has been a lovely, wet, muggy summer. There are no complaints from camp Belteau Gerfen.

 July 28
My cute little kitchen. It was and still is my favorite room in our house.
How adorable is our new docking station?

July 29
Pretty morning on a pretty campus.

July 30
My weirdly (for summer) cuddle-y cat. It may sound stupid but I think she is very empathetic.

 July 31
You should see how giant this things are. . .probably 5or 6 inches across?!?!?!

 August 1
Brown Eyed Susans. Lovely, Lovely, Lovely.
With Oklahoma getting rain this summer there are still flowers around. . .the last few years they had all long since burned up.

 August 2
5-6 am maybe my favorite time of day. I think it is a bit magic.
August 3
The last few Saturdays Jerod and I have cooked big dinners and listened to music and I have loved it.
This week to accompany our fish tacos I made mojitos, with mint we are growing (this is the first year I haven't killed all of my herbs!) they were tasty. I need to get a muddler though. Also, Pako bread crumbs are a revelation.

365 Project: Week 30

Week 30. My week started out nicely but ended with me a little blue and frustrated for no real reason. I hate it when that happens. But mostly good things happened let's focus on those. . .for the most part.

 July 21
Jerod was at his parents on Saturday the 20th and went straight to work from their house so I ended up sleeping in (8am) and then having a lovely lazy morning of tea and crafts and watching Orange is the New Black. . .which I quite enjoyed even though I was skeptical about it as I HATED Weeds with a fierce passion.

July 22
My crazy, sensitive, little fatty of a cat.

 July 23
I surely do like making pom poms.

 July 24
I did not manipulate this photo at all! How beautiful is that sunrise. It was making our entire dining room glow orange and pink.

July 25
Jerod grew these and they are delicious! Let me repeat DELICIOUS!!!!

 July 26
Sorry. . .this was kind of a crappy morning. Norman got 4 to 5 inches of rain in 2 hours (I am not complaining about the rain) and a whole bunch of it gushed in though our window. I thought the microwave got fried by lightning (luckily it just spazzed out) and I cut two of my toes open.
The afternoon and evening were fine though.
July 27
I have probably created a monster by letting this happen BUT it is just so cute. How can I resist a cat in a bowl? My heart is not that hard.

Also I am going to give a happy thought on each picture.

 July 6
Jerod can grill with the best of them.
 July 7
Summer Sky! So blue and fluffy.

 July 8

Healthy and tasty.

365 Project: Week 26

So. . .this week is officially the half way point of the year. I find that super hard to believe but it is the truth. Summer is flying by faster than I would like also. Good thing I am taking pictures to remember it by.
